Machine Operator (5am-3:30pm)

The Capacity Operator works in our production areas and is responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely, and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather raw materials for batch using RF system
  • Weigh off raw materials, pour batches into containers, transfer drummed material into blenders and transfer product to different manufacturing areas while following all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Push, pull and transfer totes, tubs and other mobile equipment to various locations in the production area.
  • Clean and disinfect work areas by sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment with bleach and caustic detergents, dismantling and reassembling equipment, and entering confined spaces to scrub containers.
  • Operate various equipment and instrumentation safely, according to procedure and with little supervision. Equipment may include, but not be limited to 3 roll mills, blenders, bead mills, grinders, PLC's, dryers, filter presses, pumps, chemical feed systems, forklifts, hand trucks, etc.  
  • Adhere to safety and quality protocols including, but not limited to wearing hairnets, safety glasses, covering and protecting exposed materials.
  • Document all batch sheet data and cleaning logs using cGMP quality standards.
  • Stage finished products to shipping or finished product transfer point
  • Train other operators as needed.

Machine Operator (3PM-1:30AM)

The Capacity Operator works in our production areas and is responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely, and on time.

Maintenance Electrician

About the position

The Electrician at Colorcon is part of a precision maintenance team that is critical to site operations and production up-time. This individual will be working on industrial equipment, facility electrical systems using state of the art technologies and tools. The maintenance team seeks to efficiently and quickly address mechanical, electrical, and control issues and aims to prevent these challenges through the implementation of our preventative maintenance system. In addition, the Electrician will also be responsible for new electrical installations and upgrades.

At Colorcon, The Electrician is responsible for maintaining and improving the integrity of existing electrical equipment and systems and works closely with the Engineering group on site-wide improve projects and new electrical and equipment installations. These projects often involve researching and utilizing the latest in state of the art technologies.

Pharmaceutical Research Analyst

Position Summary

The Pharmaceutical Research Analyst (Global Market Research Analyst) will be responsible for obtaining relevant global market information and analysis of the data to turn it into information for the business to support business strategies, marketing programs and commercial action plans.  The Global Market Research Analyst, reporting to Global Market Communications, works closely with Global Business Units on key global trends and supports Regional Market Development Managers to attain relevant regional data.

Machine Operator-Chalfont (12PM-8:30PM)

Position Summary:
The Capacity Operator works in our production areas and is responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely, and on time.

Shift:  Monday-Friday, 12PM- 8:30PM

***Training on 1st shift may be required ***

Plant Support Engineer

Position Summary

The Plant Support Engineer investigates, plans, budgets, and executes projects to improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and site infrastructure. The engineer examines equipment, processes, and operations to identify improvements, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, quality and safety. The engineer will be expected to manage projects independently, as part of a team, or as the team leader. The engineer works with manufacturing and supporting departments to identify and troubleshoot equipment and process problems. The engineer works with team members to plan and execute multiple shutdowns (production outages) throughout the year. The engineer will be a self-starter with good organization skills, independent thinking, quick decision-making, professionalism, and an aggressive bias for action.
