Flexographic/Gravure

NT04 System: Labels and other in-package inserts where the ink will be in contact with pharmaceutical or medical products. All types of FDA acceptable uncoated and coated papers, surgical grade kraft, nitrocellulose coated cellophane (when properly modified), shellac coated foils and some other specific plastic films.

NT05 System: Modified acrylic polymers specifically designed for use on styrene films  labels and inserts. For Saran (Dow Chemical, USA) (PVDC) or acrylic coated polypropylene and foils used for candy bar wrappers and similar applications.

NT14 System: Specifically designed for printing onto films such as PVC, polystyrene, polyurethane and acrylic or PVDC coated polyolefins which will come into direct contact with drug products or are parts of medical devices or medical packaging.

NT15 System: Specially modified co-solvent polyamide designed for printing on in-line treated low, medium or high density polyethylene and polypropylene films. Can also be used on Tyvek (DuPont, USA), polyesters, Saran (PVDC), nylon, many cellophanes and most paper stocks.

NT20 System: Specially modified co-solvent polyamide designed to provide heat resistance when printed in the heat seal area of corona treated polyolefin films. Resists softening or smudging at heat sealing temperatures and pressures normally used to seal polyolefin films (low, medium and high density polyethylenes and polypropylenes). Can also be used on Tyvek polyesters, nylon, Saran (PVDC), some cellophanes and most
paper stocks.

NT23 System: Water reducible, modified acrylic polymer all types of FDA acceptable uncoated/coated papers, Tyvek, polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylic and Saran (PVDC) coated polypropylenes, some cellophanes, Mylar (Dupont Teijin Films, USA), and aluminum foils.

NT25 System: Cellulosic modified acrylic specifically designed for use on styrene films used for labels and for Saran (PVDC) or acrylic coated polypropylene films and foils used for wrappers and similar applications. NT25 series inks provide superior heat and resistance compared to NT15 series inks, at the expense of slightly poorer scotch tape adhesion.
