Cal-Carb® Directly Compressible Calcium Carbonate

 

Cal-Carb is a free-flowing, calcium carbonate granulation that includes either pregelatinized starch or maltodextrin, has excellent compression properties and is designed for use in conventional pharmaceutical tablets as well as calcium supplements.


Cal-Carb Directly Compressible Calcium Carbonate is available in a variety of grades:

  • Cal-Carb 4450 PG: Cal Carb USP with Maltodextrin NF
  • Cal-Carb 4457: Cal Carb USP with Pregelatinized Starch NF
  • Cal-Carb 4462: Cal Carb USP with Pregelatinized Starch NF
    • Tighter particle size and Precipitated Calcium Carbonate
  • Pharma-Carb® LL (EP): Extremely Pure Low Lead Calcium Carbonate
