Course Description
The Colorcon Coating School is overview of the fundamental concepts in the technology of preparation of solid dosage forms. Course topics include the preparation and testing of the tablet cores, film coating technology & equipment, planning for seamless product scale up, troubleshooting coating problems, printing options for solid oral dosage forms, and an overview of global color regulations.
The course will:
- Provide participants with an overall understanding of the technology of coating solid dosage forms
- Explore concepts of preparation of the tablet cores
- Present basic principles in the technologies of both immediate, modified and sustained release products
- Offer participants an open forum for the exchange ideas with presenters and other participants
